Refund policy
v4.0.0
Last updated: 29 October 2026
Previous version: the Refund Policy dated 27 May 2026, which continues to apply to Accounts created before 29 October 2026 for payments made before 28 November 2026.
This Refund Policy is part of the Terms of Service of CatDoes Inc. (a Delaware corporation). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
A full or partial refund may be issued only if either of the following cases applies:
Case 1 — Limited-Use Guarantee. A refund may be issued if all of the following conditions are met:
Timely Request: The refund request is submitted within 14 calendar days of the original payment date.
No Export Event: No Export Event (as defined in the Terms of Service) has occurred for the account or project associated with the relevant order or billing cycle.
Minimal Credit Consumption: No more than 10% of the applicable monthly Credit allocation has been consumed. For Subscription plans (including annual Subscriptions), "monthly Credit allocation" means the Credits allocated for a single calendar month under that plan—not the total Credits across the entire Subscription term. For one-time Credit purchases, it means 10% of the purchased bundle. Credits that have been deducted—even if the resulting Output is unsatisfactory—are deemed used.
Case 2 — Platform Fault. A refund may be issued if a verifiable technical failure that is solely attributable to CatDoes renders the Service completely inaccessible to you for a continuous period exceeding 48 hours. This case applies regardless of Credit consumption or Export Events, provided the refund request is submitted within 30 calendar days of the end of the outage period.
Effect of a refund. An approved refund removes the Credits and other benefits the refunded payment provided; Credits already used stay used.
2. Non-Refundable Cases
Unless Case 2 (Platform Fault) applies, refunds will not be granted under any of the following circumstances:
Exceeded Credit Threshold (Case 1): If more than 10% of the applicable monthly Credit allocation (as defined in Section 1, Case 1) has been consumed.
Exported Code or Artifacts (Case 1): If any Export Event has occurred for the account or project associated with the relevant order or billing cycle.
Late Request (Case 1): If the refund request is submitted more than 14 calendar days after the original payment date.
Output Quality or Performance: Any dissatisfaction with, or subjective assessment of, the content, style, quality, accuracy, completeness, relevance, or stability of AI-generated Output—including, without limitation, claims that the agent is unreliable, hallucinating, ignoring instructions, producing offensive material, or otherwise failing to meet your expectations.
Expectation Mismatch: Requests for deterministic or perfectly reliable Output, or for features not explicitly included in the purchased plan.
Third-Party Causes: Issues arising from your own hardware, internet connectivity, third-party software, or integrations not provided by CatDoes.
Inactivity: Failure to utilize Credits during the subscription or validity period does not, by itself, create eligibility for a refund.
Breach of Terms: Requests arising after a suspension or termination of your account for violation of the Terms of Service.
3. Refund Procedure
Submit Request: Email [email protected] with your order ID, payment receipt, and (for Case 2 requests) a detailed description of the technical failure, including approximate dates and times of the outage.
Review: A request counts as made on the day we receive it. We may ask for additional information or diagnostic steps.
Decision: We aim to issue a written decision within 10 business days of receiving all required information.
Payment Method: Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. How long they take to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
4. Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback, credit-card dispute or payment reversal with your bank or payment provider, you agree to follow the refund procedure in Section 3 above and, if the outcome is unsatisfactory, to contact CatDoes under Section 23.1 of the Terms of Service and, where Section 24 (Binding Arbitration) applies to you, to use it. Initiating a chargeback without first following those steps is a material breach of the Terms of Service. CatDoes may: (a) suspend your account, including its Deployments and Cloud Instances, while the dispute is open, and may terminate it; (b) recover the disputed amount, chargeback fees and related costs by deducting Credits of equivalent value from your account or recording a negative Credit balance, and otherwise through arbitration or, where permitted, small claims court; and (c) condition reinstatement of a suspended account on the dispute being withdrawn and those amounts being repaid. Remaining Credits are forfeited if the account is terminated. By using the Service and making a purchase, you acknowledge that chargebacks are not a substitute for the contractual refund and dispute-resolution processes provided in the Terms of Service.
5. Exports and Loss of Refund/Withdrawal Rights
5.1. Contractual refunds. Any Export Event automatically disqualifies the related order or current billing cycle from refunds under this Refund Policy.
5.2. EU/EEA consumers—statutory right of withdrawal for digital content. Digital code and build artifacts constitute digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. By initiating an Export Event, you request immediate supply and acknowledge that your 14-day statutory right of withdrawal (where applicable) will be lost once supply begins, provided that CatDoes has informed you of this consequence and obtained your express, separate consent before the export proceeds. CatDoes will present a separate, unticked consent step in the export flow for EU/EEA consumers and will store proof of such consent and timing. The same applies to every purchase you make in the Service, including starting or changing a Subscription, buying Credits and adding Cloud add-ons: by giving the separate consent presented at checkout, you request immediate supply and acknowledge that your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal is lost once supply begins. Where your purchase is made through a merchant of record shown at checkout, that merchant is the seller and its purchase terms, which you accept there, also apply.
5.3. Proof of export. CatDoes may rely on system logs (including timestamps, account and project identifiers, artifact digests, and export destinations) as evidence that an Export Event occurred.
5.4. Mandatory rights. Nothing in this Section limits any non-waivable statutory rights that apply to you under mandatory law; where such rights apply, they are honored to the maximum extent required by law.
